Tonight Socialist Alliance Geelong, IPAN Geelong & Southwest Vic and Maritime Union of Australia Vic branch held a public meeting in Geelong on stopping the Imperialist War in Iran. Thank you to Iranian writer and activist Ali Keshtkar for coming down from Melbourne to contribute to the discussion.

We’re hoping to form a local broad anti-war group coming out of this meeting to oppose US and Israeli led wars in Palestine, Iran, Lebanon to name a few and the Australian governments ongoing complicity and active involvement in these conflicts whilst failing to meet the basic needs of people living here like housing and disability supports to name a few.
