This week is National Volunteer Week.

Study Geelong wants to thank all our Ambassadors for their wonderful work they have done throughout 2025 and 2026.

We also want to welcome our new 2026 group who will be starting their Study Geelong adventures very soon.

Last month, our 2025 Study Geelong Ambassadors came together for one final outing as a team 🌊✨

We kicked off the day with a delicious tasting and behind-the-scenes tour sampling a range of unique flavours and learning how it’s all made.

Next stop: a seriously tasty lunch at the Hotel in Queenscliff 🍽️

To wrap up an unforgettable day, we joined for a meaningful experience in their SOEL program, transforming old plastics into something new ♻️

We then headed out on a stunning sunset cruise across Port Phillip Bay, where we spotted playful fur seals in the wild.

Step into an exciting volunteer opportunity as a 2026 Study Geelong Ambassador and help showcase Geelong and The Bellarine as an incredible place to study, live and explore.

As an Ambassador, you will:

- Explore the region alongside fellow ambassadors and international students
- Build meaningful networks and friendships
- Attend social and professional events
- Get creative with blog writing and social media content
- Promote Geelong and The Bellarine as a vibrant, welcoming student destination

Today Study Geelong hosted its first free walking tour for new students living and studying in Geelong.

Blessed with perfect weather, Barbara our tour guide showcased Geelong’s history, culture and gave some great tips for new students.

We were even lucky enough to have a ride on the historic Carousel.

Study Geelong will plan to host another tour soon so if you missed out keep an eye out for our next dates available over the coming weeks.
