Concrete pumping remains a high-risk activity. Incidents involving concrete placing equipment continue to occur on construction sites, many with the potential to cause serious injury or death.

WorkSafe Victoria has updated the Concrete Pumping Industry standard in collaboration with industry stakeholders.

The updated standard includes expanded guidance on obligations, training and competency, hierarchy of controls, pipe-cleaning risks and more stringent inspection requirements.

If you own, operate or manage concrete pumping equipment, make sure you’ve read and are working from the latest standard.

Download the updated Concrete Pumping Industry Standard below.
