Participant spotlight: We have been supporting Des for well over 12 months, as he continues to go from strength to strength. Vicki here is Des's key support worker; always providing consistent, reliable and meaningful supports that promote growth and independence. Des is very hands on and enjoys getting out in the community, some of his favourite things to do include DIY projects, shopping at bunnings, gardening, photography, building planter boxes, meal preparation, cooking, op shopping and recycling. All the while, maintaining ongoing and sustainable employment. It is fair to say Des loves to keep busy and is very independent, which is amazing to see. Des has also developed meaningful friendships through his employment and continues learn and develop new skills each and every day. Working alongside Des is an absolute pleasure, and we are privileged to be playing a small role in his continued success. 💙
