🚒 Gaeta Rural Fire Brigade – Monthly Meetings Update 🚒

We’d love to see you at our upcoming Gaeta Rural Fire Brigade meetings.

Please note that we are now moving to monthly meetings, giving members and interested community members more regular opportunities to stay informed prior to fire season, get involved, and connect with the brigade.

Whether you’re looking to become an active firefighter, assist with support activities, or simply learn more about how you can contribute to your community, attending a meeting is the perfect place to start. Our members are always happy to answer questions and explain the different ways you can get involved.

Today we recognise International Firefighters’ Day and honour the dedication, courage, and sacrifice of firefighters across Queensland and beyond.

We remember those who gave their lives in service and thank all firefighters—past and present—who continue to protect our communities, often in the most challenging conditions.

Over the past year, we’ve seen incredible strength and commitment through fires, floods, and storms, with crews supporting communities both locally and across Australia.

At midday, we pause for a one-minute silence to reflect and show our respect.

From all of us at the Gaeta Rural Fire Brigade — thank you for your service.

A proud day for our Gaeta Rural Fire Brigade.

Well done to everyone who completed their First Aid certification today. These are skills that matter, for our brigade and for our community.

Thank you to Dean from Pulse Certification for an excellent session and for the Queensland Rural Fire Service to make it happen.

Gaeta Rural Fire Brigade will be holding First Aid and CPR Training on Thursday the 30th April at the station. M
Members of the community are welcome to attend at their own cost
CPR unit only $60-
Full first aid CPR inclusive $125-
I must have details of anyone wishing to attend this training by Pulse Certification by the 20th April
