Hi Friends, just letting you know that our formal petition was tabled at Council meeting on 11 December 2017. I note the following recommendation was made:
"1. The petition be received.
2. Acknowledgement of the receipt be sent to the principal petitioner.
3. A report be prepared for presentation to the January 2018 Council meeting, addressing issues associated with the reinstatement of the Trampolines, including consideration of alternative locations.
4. The principal petitioner be notified of Council's proposed actions."

On behalf of the local residents and friends of the Katherine Street Reserve, Anne-Marie will be making a deputation regarding our petition during the January 2018 council meeting, the date of which is yet to be confirmed. We'll keep you posted and encourage as many of you as possible to come along to support her and our petition.

Hi All, just letting you know that we have lodged our petition with the City of Unley today. We obtained a fabulous 651 signatures in less than 3 weeks. Thanks to everyone for their support and assistance. We're hoping the petition will be discussed at the final council meeting of the year on 11 December 2017. Watch this space....

Quick update - we have so far obtained over 600 signatures on our petition to council. A massive thank you to everyone who has signed the petition and who has also pounded the streets to get the petitions signed. That's an amazing effort in less than 3 weeks. We're planning on making our formal submission with all signed petitions to council on Monday, 4 December. Will keep you posted. Those that still have petitions, if you could drop them back to Sarah or Anne-Marie by this Sunday, 3 December, that'd be great. Great job team! Bring back the bounce!

FULLARTON residents are urging Unley Council to restore in-ground trampolines at a popular playground, which were removed because they created “excessive” noise when children jumped on them.

Just a quick update to let you know that we have now collected more than 200 signatures for our 'traditional' petition and counting. Thanks for your continued support. For those that would like to sign the petition that will be submitted to council, we will have some petitions available in the playground this weekend. Feel free to let anyone you think might be interested know. Thanks again.

Thanks everyone for your support so far. The response to our change.org online petition is going strong with over 240 supporters. Even though we only started collecting signatures for the 'traditional petition' to submit to council on Sunday night, we already have 130+ signatures and counting. To all those who are helping us collect signatures, thank you and to all those supporting us in our endeavours, thank you. Keep up the good work!
