𝗔𝗡𝗭𝗔𝗖 𝗗𝗮𝘆 reminds us of the courage, sacrifice and service of our defence men and women.

It's a chance to honour those who served, reflect on the cost of conflict, and recommit ourselves to compassion in our own communities.

With ANZAC Day approaching, we’ve gathered the details of next week’s services and marches around the Rockhampton Region.

Around 86 Year 6 students from St. Anthony's Catholic Primary School visited RRC City Hall today to learn more about Local Government.

The students asked great questions about being a Councillor and learnt more about how decisions are made in Council. The students did a role-play in Council Chambers to debate a topic and arrive at a decision.

At the end of the school visit, i asked "who would like to be a Councillor in the future?" One brave boy put his hand up. Note: Being a Councillor is not for everyone.

Loving the LIVE music concert at the Great Western Hotel Rockhampton.

Rocking out with my wife to Richard Clapton, The Chantoozies, Wendy Mathews, Swanee, Mi-Sex and The Radiators. A great selection from the 1970's to 1990's musicians.

Rockhampton loves live music. Great crowd and superb smoked meats on offer. Thank you Triple M radio for bringing this to our vibrant city.
