Do you want to help shape the approach to WAโs 2029 Bicentenary?
The state government has announced a survey, where your feedback will help shape the initiatives and activities of the bicentenary.
This is an opportunity to reflect on Western Australia's complex history, recognise the many people and stories that have shaped our state, and consider the future we want to build together.
You can have your say before 31 October 2026.

2029 will mark 200 years since the establishment of the Swan River Colony, a significant milestone in the Stateโs history but not the beginning of its story.
As the Bicentenary approaches, Western Australians have the opportunity to reflect on our collective history, define what makes our State so unique today and consider the future we aspire to.
Your feedback will help inform an inclusive and respectful statewide program of Bicentenary initiatives leading into, throughout, and beyond 2029.
