Fremantle Markets was established in 1897 and has become one of the most recognised and celebrated attractions in Fremantle. With over 150 stalls under the one roof and steeped in Fremantle’s rich indigenous, maritime, convi

ct, colonial and migrant history, the Market is one of the most visited places in WA. Step inside and you’ll find yourself surrounded by the irresistible waft of home-brewed coffee and the characteristic sounds of the beloved busking musicians while you wander through colourful aisles of artisan products such as jewellery, leather, accessories, clothing, photography, paintings, home-wares and souvenirs. There’s also a delicious array of fresh local produce, organic foods and independent eateries on offer, from authentic international dishes to the more traditional Aussie outback tucker. Time your visit right and you might even get to cuddle a friendly snake or pat a sleepy koala in Market Lane! For detailed answers on opening hours, stalls etc, please email [email protected].
