Please note: up to 3wk delay for Council DA Pre-lodgement processing times. Current backlog of 122 DAs lodged to be reviewed.

What is DA pre-lodgement?

This is the process where Council reviews a newly lodged DA, which they have received via the NSW Planning Portal. They check that all information has been provided, the plans are clear and supporting information such as bushfire reports, BASIX Certificates, wastewater reports etc have been provided.

Once your DA passes the pre-lodgement stage, DA fees are requested and the DA is passed out the back to a council planner or building surveyor for assessment.

If your DA doesn't pass pre-lodgement then the DA is rejected with reasons provided. The lodgement process needs to be restarted.
