🔥 Day 25 – Talk to Your Neighbours
Introduce yourself to the people on every fence line, across the road, and even a few houses over. Share your fire plan, ask about theirs, and exchange contact details.

👉 Don’t forget your pets. Let your neighbours meet them, and talk about how they could help if you’re not home during a fire. You might have resources that could help them too, like a trailer, float, or pet carrier.

Fire can strike without warning, and roads may be closed, stopping you from returning home. In that moment, you may need your neighbours to check pets, turn on sprinklers, or keep watch.

Having the conversation now means you won’t be facing it alone later. Strong communities are safer communities.
