The Fire Danger Period for Colac Otway Shire will end on 20/04/2026 following an amendment.

A BIG thank you to Byron and other townsfolk who helped with the very enjoyable and successful community event yesterday.
Over $3,000 was raised, $1,000 for each of the Forrest, Gerangamete and Barwon Downs Fire Brigades.
This will help Forrest CFA with the cost of new water tanks and a pump.

Thanks to those in Forrest who have let the CFA know about suitable tank outlets. We may need them to defend local properties.
