Have your say on sustainable development in Cambridge. 🌿

The Town is seeking community feedback on draft Local Planning Policy 3.27: Environmentally Sustainable Design.

The draft Policy aims to support more sustainable residential development by encouraging energy-efficient design, renewable energy, water conservation, urban greening and climate-responsive development.

If adopted, the Policy would apply to certain development applications and introduce minimum sustainability requirements alongside a flexible points-based assessment framework.

💬 Review the draft Policy, FAQs and make a submission by 5pm Friday, 9 October 2026.
