UPDATE: Gas has been turned off and students are now returning to their usual class spaces.

Dear families,

We are currently experiencing a gas leak in the front carpark of the school.

As such our administration building is locked and all staff and students have moved into the school gym in line with our emergency evacuation procedures and DfE advice.

Students and staff are safe and will shelter in place until the issue is resolved. This may take an hour or two.

During a shelter in place procedure parents are asked not come on site at all.

We will send out another broadcast when more information is available to us.
Please be aware that all staff are actively involved supporting and supervising students and as such will be unable emails, phone calls or messages.

This morning we had Liam Kilner welcome students to our assembly with a smoking ceremony. A native rosemary called Bluebush was used which can be found in KAURNA country and along the coastline. He spoke of his experiences and of National Reconciliation Week and what the themes of “All In” represents for our community.

Assembly will begin on the courts tomorrow Friday 29th at 9am with Liam Kilner conducting a Smoking Ceremony for National Reconciliation Week. We look forward to seeing you there!
