🚧 BREAKING NEWS: Mrs Gibbons closes the playground! 🚧😱

As part of our new Persuasive Writing unit, students arrived today to discover that Mrs Gibbons had closed the oval! Their challenge? Complete a pre-writing task convincing her to OPEN IT BACK UP!

And wow… they came prepared with some convincing arguments! 😂
Apparently, closing the oval could:
☀️ lead to brittle bones from a lack of Vitamin D
📉 impact our school attendance rate
📱 and prevent us from getting kids off technology and outside!

The activity also sparked a fantastic discussion about AI-generated images. Students discovered that just because a picture looks real, doesn’t mean it is!

A fun start to our persuasive writing unit… and after today's arguments, Mrs Gibbons may have some serious reconsidering to do! 😂
