16th Aviation Brigade - Australian Army Welcome to the official page of the 16th Aviation Brigade of the Australian Army. It shares the base with a number of Royal Australian Air Force units.

The Brigade is primarily based in Townsville, with units also in Darwin, Brisbane, and Sydney. The 16th Aviation Brigade is primarily located in Townsville, at RAAF Base Townsville. The 16th Aviation Brigade currently consists of the following units:
