Calavos Rural Fire Brigade Calavos Rural Fire Brigade is located just outside the little city of Bundaberg. The Brigade is managed and operated solely by volunteers.

The Brigade is managed and operated solely by volunteers, committed to serving and protecting their community. Queensland Rural Fire Brigades are a part of the QFES family. The primary responsibility of the Rural Brigades is to manage and respond to bushfire threats in the community. This is all done by volunteers. We also play a massive role in supporting Urban operations across the state, in Roa

d accidents, Structural Fires as well as Floods and other incidents. All funds to operate come from local contributions. We are locals, for the locals.

It was so amazing to see the community at each of our stops. Thanks for all who showed up and to our firefighters who drove Santa around.
I think it's safe to say that this was quite a successful year for Santa.

Thanks to the community for your ongoing support through out this year. We appreciate what the community does for us as a brigade. We can't wait to see what 2026 has in store for our Brigade.
