KZ is learning how humans use plants and animals to meet their needs. They put their learning into practice by making tabouli in class. They explored the different parts of plants and sorted a variety of fruits and vegetables according to which part of the plant they come from. It was a fun, hands-on way to connect their learning to everyday life!

On Friday, we celebrated the final day of Literacy and Numeracy week with The Great Debate. Our talented debaters challenged our K-2 student to decide which books were best- scary or funny books? Then years 3-6 listened to an entertaining debate about which characters were the best - villains or heroes? Thank you to Sulian, Angelica, Charlie, Joseph, Melinda, Leo and Mikaylah who all worked so hard to prepare their convincing arguments. Every student vote was counted and, while the results were close, the winners were funny books and villains!

🎭🧦 Puppetry Fun in 3D! 🧦🎭 In Drama, 3D have been exploring the wonderful world of puppetry! Students had so much fun getting creative and designing their very own sock puppets. ✂️🎨 We can’t wait to see these colourful characters come to life when students use them in their own performances later this term! 🌟👏

📚 1P have been practising their use of Tier 3 vocabulary by looking up definitions in the dictionary. What wonderful word detectives! 🔍✨
