Each month, local community organisations drop into the library to connect with you, answer your questions and share helpful information, all in a relaxed, friendly and informal setting. It’s free, friendly and open to everyone.

Father’s Day Story Time tomorrow 📚👨‍👧‍👦

Join us for a special Father’s Day Story Time as we celebrate all the wonderful dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures in our lives! Enjoy stories, songs and rhymes about the special people who support, encourage and love us every day.

Little ones will also have the chance to create a heartfelt craft to take home as a Father’s Day gift.

You'll learn:
✅ How to identify common scams and fraud attempts.
✅ Ways to protect your personal information.
✅ Safe online banking, shopping and browsing practices.
✅ Tips to build confidence using technology.
No experience is needed, and all questions are welcome.

Looking for a great way to connect with others and give back to the community? Join us this Monday from 9.30am - 11.30am for Yarn It Forward!

This wonderful community group creates hats, scarves and mittens for those in need. Whether you're experienced or a complete beginner, our friendly members are always happy to share their skills and help you learn.

We're also excited to welcome the Knitted Knockers Association this Monday. This amazing group creates special handmade breast prostheses for women who have experienced or are undergoing treatment for breast cancer - providing comfort, support and care through their craft.

Come along, enjoy a morning of creativity and community, grab a coffee from the Townhouse Café and meet some truly wonderful people who are making a difference, one stitch at a time.
