Throughout the day, students participated in a range of awesome activities, including team-building challenges, outdoor adventures and problem-solving tasks that encouraged cooperation, resilience and courage.

Year 8 Camp update

Wow! Not even halfway and this has already been a camp to remember!! We've rock abseiled in the bush, completed the largest giant swing in the southern hemisphere, orienteered and problem solved our, danced the night away with a silent disco and enjoyed some truly spectacular scenery (waterfalls and ocean views, anyone??).

Today is already set to be a gloriously sunny day, filled with activities galore and the girls are bringing the most incredible attitude to all that they do.

We're so proud of Year 8 and the wonderful young women they are becoming. Stay tuned for Tuesdays update...although Monday will be hard to beat.

⛵Year 10 Marine Studies – Smooth Sailing! ⛵

Congratulations to our Year 10 Marine Studies students, who have successfully completed both the theory and practical requirements for their motorboat licences. Thanks to a joint Marine Studies and RTA initiative, students are now eligible to apply for their motorboat licences free of charge.

The experience provided plenty of fun out on the beautiful Brisbane Waters, where students developed confidence and practical boating skills while putting their classroom learning into action. Along the way, they embraced new challenges, learnt valuable new skills, and strengthened friendships through teamwork and shared experiences.

Well done to all involved on this fantastic achievement!

We are incredibly proud to share a glimpse into the leadership journeys of our 2027 College Captain applicants.

Each student delivered a heartfelt speech reflecting on what leadership means to them and why they aspire to serve our college community. This video brings together just a small line from each of those courageous presentations.

The confidence, passion and authenticity shown by every student who applied has been truly inspiring. Putting yourself forward for a leadership role takes bravery, and each of these students should be very proud of their efforts.

We look forward to announcing our 2027 College Captains soon.

Today we welcomed students from our local CSBB primary schools to the College for a special Science Enrichment Day 🔬

Throughout the day, students stepped into the role of scientists — experimenting, investigating and working together to crack the case of who stole Mrs Murdoch’s lunch! 🕵️‍♀️

Their curiosity and enthusiasm were incredible, with so many thoughtful questions and a real eagerness to learn.

A big thank you to our St Joseph’s and St Edwards College Year 10 students for their leadership and support, and of course to our amazing Science teachers for creating such an engaging and memorable experience.

It was fantastic to see so many young minds inspired by science!
