🌏❤️ Thank You – Festival of Friendships 2026 ❤️🌏
What an incredible day!

Yesterday, our Festival of Friendships truly came to life as our community gathered to celebrate the many cultures, traditions, stories, and friendships that make our neighbourhood such a special place.

From delicious food shared by cultures from around the world, to the vibrant traditional clothing, cultural performances, music, dance, children's activities, creative workshops, and opportunities to connect with one another, the day was filled with joy, laughter, learning, and belonging.

This event would not have been possible without the dedication, generosity, and support of so many people.

🙏 To our community members and cultural groups – thank you for proudly sharing your traditions, food, performances, stories, and heritage with us.

🙏 To our volunteers – thank you for the countless hours spent planning, setting up, welcoming guests, serving food, supporting activities, packing up, and doing all the little things that often go unseen. Your kindness and commitment made the day possible.

🙏 To our performers, entertainers, and activity providers – thank you for bringing energy, colour, creativity, and culture to the festival.

🙏 To our partners, sponsors, and supporters – thank you for believing in the importance of building connections across cultures and helping create opportunities for our community to come together.

🙏 To our staff and organising team – thank you for your passion, hard work, and vision in turning an idea into a celebration that touched so many lives.

🙏 And to everyone who attended – thank you for coming with open hearts, curious minds, and a willingness to connect. Every conversation, smile, shared meal, and new friendship helped create the spirit of the day.

The Festivals of Friendship is about more than an event. It is about building understanding, celebrating diversity, strengthening community connections, and creating a place where everyone feels welcome and valued.

Together we demonstrated that while our cultures may be different, our hopes for friendship, belonging, and community are shared.
