Come and join us The Straddie Hotel for a big community singalong as we celebrate the end of the 2026 Straddie Arts Trail.

It’s a chance to cheer creativity, thank our incredible volunteers and celebrate what we achieve when our community comes together.

Bring the family, grab a meal, raise a glass and sing along with the locals.

We’ll also be joined by Carmel Haugh from Artisan to help close the 2026 Straddie Arts Trail, adding to the afternoon’s celebration of creativity and community.

Join us for the opening of the 2026 Straddie Arts Trail as we celebrate five years of creativity, community and connection.

We warmly invite our community, supporters, artists, makers, volunteers, businesses and friends to come together for an evening honouring the spirit that continues to shape this remarkable event.

We are proud to begin the Trail at Quampi, where visitors will be welcomed onto Country and invited to engage with the living culture, stories and creativity of the Noonuccal, Goenpul and Ngugi peoples. This powerful opening sets the tone for a weekend that celebrates both art and the place and people that inspire it.

Together, we will acknowledge the artists and makers who enrich our island, thank those who have supported the Trail over the past five years, and officially launch four days of exhibitions, workshops, conversations and cultural experiences across Minjerribah.

Whether you’ve been part of the journey from the beginning or are discovering the Trail for the first time, we would love you to join us in marking this milestone.

⛑️ Redland City Council’s Community Resilience and Recovery Program is hosting a FREE, family-friendly children’s first aid course at two locations.

Facilitated by Lifesaving Hands, the course introduces the basics of first aid and CPR, plus common emergencies like asthma, anaphylaxis, seizures, burns, bleeding and bites/stings.
