Community Fundraiser

Youth Fundraiser Sports Dinner taking place this Saturday, 13 June, in Dungog. The It takes a Community Dungog group is hosting this event to raise funds that will benefit the youth in our area by increasing participation in sport.

The funds raised will go towards purchasing a community bus, which will be made available to all schools in the region for excursions and school-organised events.

Join us for an inspiring evening filled with delicious food, exciting auctions, and heartfelt stories, all in support of this important cause.

We hope to see you there as we come together to support our local youth and help enhance sporting opportunities across our community.

Recently, our Boccia team travelled on the School Bus to the Maitland Basketball Stadium to compete against a number of local schools in the NSW School Sport Boccia Competition .

Our students played exceptionally well throughout the day, losing only one game and finishing an impressive 4th overall. They demonstrated some amazing shots, thoughtful strategies, and excellent teamwork.

Most importantly, our students displayed outstanding sportsmanship and represented our school with pride. They should be very proud of their efforts and achievements.

A big thank you to Mrs Alison and Mrs Sullivan for attending, coaching, and enthusiastically cheering on our students throughout the day. Well done, everyoneπŸ‘πŸ»

The games are getting tougher and we were missing a few players, but the team showed fantastic teamwork, determination and skill on the court.

Thanks to Liz for umpiring.

On to the next challenge β€” we’re proud to be moving into the round of the top 16 teams in the Hunter! πŸ’ͺ
