💙 Tonight, some of our amazing team members are taking part in the Dubbo Vinnies Community Sleepout at the Dubbo Turf Club.

Homelessness can impact anyone, at any time.

For most people, homelessness is not a choice. It can be the result of domestic and family violence, mental health challenges, addiction, incarceration, poverty, family breakdown and many other circumstances. And now, with the cost of living continuing to rise and the demand for affordable housing at an all-time high, more individuals and families are finding themselves homeless or at real risk of losing their home.

Behind every statistic is a person — and increasingly, that person may be a mum with children, someone escaping violence, someone leaving custody, a young person with nowhere safe to go, or someone who simply cannot find or afford a home.

Tonight is about raising awareness, raising much-needed funds and, most importantly, reminding people experiencing homelessness that their community sees them and cares about them.

We are incredibly proud to have our team there tonight. Our gorgeous Ellen will be conducting 9D Breathwork sessions, while some of our wonderful Winhangarra ladies will also be there supporting the event and showing what community care looks like.

To everyone sleeping out tonight, volunteering, donating or supporting the event — thank you. 💙

Homelessness is not someone else’s problem. It is a community issue, and it takes a community to create change
