Exciting news for the Dowerin community!

Thanks to the CEACA, 4 brand-new homes are being built along Anderson Street.

With 54 new modular homes being constructed across 17 Wheatbelt towns, this initiative is helping create more housing options for our communities.

The project is supported by both the State and Federal Governments, with $16.96 million and $10.24 million respectively contributing to this large-scale investment.

A fantastic step forward for Dowerin and the wider Wheatbelt! 👏

The VacSwim Country Early Start Program is returning to the Dowerin Swimming Pool, offering fun, structured swimming lessons for children of all skill levels.

📍 Location: Dowerin Swimming Pool
📅 Dates: Saturday, 19 December – Wednesday, 23 December 2026
⏱️ Duration: 5 days (including Saturday & Sunday)
🏊 Lesson Length: 50 minutes
🎓 Stages: 1–16
