If you visited one of our outdoor pools during the 2025/2026 summer season, we want to hear from you!

We had a total of 2,347 individual pool registrations for this season, along with 4,706 visitors to the Dimboola Pool, 4,978 visitors to the Nhill Pool, 2,077 visitors to the Rainbow Pool and 749 visitors to the Jeparit Pool.

Council thanks all staff and patrons for contributing to a safe and enjoyable season and looks forward to welcoming everyone back next summer!

In order to continue to improve our services, we encourage those who attended a Hindmarsh Outdoor Pool this recent season to provide their feedback by completing the survey on the Have Your Say Hindmarsh website here: https://www.haveyoursay.hindmarsh.vic.gov.au/hindmarsh-outdoor-pool-post-season-review-survey

You can also use the survey to express your interest in lifeguarding for Hindmarsh Outdoor Pools next season - if you do this, we'll email you future employment opportunities.

All pools will be closed today, Thursday 12 March 2026, with the final bonus opening day scheduled for tomorrow in Nhill.

|| HINDMARSH OUTDOOR POOL SEASON WRAP UP AND BONUS OPENING DAYS ||

With Monday 9 March 2026 being the final advertised day of the season, all four Hindmarsh Shire Outdoor Pools will be open from 2:00pm – 6:30pm.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who has visited and supported our pools throughout the season. It has been fantastic to see the facilities enjoyed by both local residents and visitors, and we will be creating an end of season survey in the coming weeks seeking feedback on how the pools operated this season and could operate into the future.

Towards the end of the season, many of our lifeguards headed off to university - fortunately, we still have a number of our fantastic team available to open some of the pools for a few bonus days!

BONUS OPENING DAYS (subject to weather)

Nhill Outdoor Pool
• Tuesday 10 March 2026 – 3:30pm to 6:30pm
• Wednesday 11 March 2026 – 3:30pm to 6:30pm
• Friday 13 March 2026 – 3:30pm to 6:30pm

Jeparit Outdoor Pool
• Friday 13 March 2026 – 4:00pm to 6:30pm

Dimboola Outdoor Pool
• Wednesday 11 March 2026 – 3:30pm to 6:30pm

Due to staff availability, Rainbow Outdoor Pool’s final day for the season will be Monday 9 March 2026. Leading into next season, we encourage the Rainbow community to put their hand up for lifeguarding opportunities so that we can avoid closure days as much as possible.
