🚨 Have Your Say, South Lakes! 🚨

Our PACT (Police and Communities Together) surveys are now LIVE and will run until 22nd June 2026 – and we’d love to hear from you! 👇

So… what’s a PACT?
It’s not a secret police handshake (although that would be cool 🤫)…
PACT is how you tell us what matters most in your area. We take your feedback and use it to set our local policing priorities – the issues we focus on tackling where you live.
Whether it’s speeding 🚗💨, anti-social behaviour 😬, parking problems 🚫 or something else, this is your chance to speak up and help shape what we do next.

How to take part:
✅ Simply find your nearest town or village on the links below and give it a click.
✅ Submit your feedback
✅ That’s it – quick, easy, and makes a real difference

Every response helps us build a clearer picture of what’s happening across South Lakes and ensures we’re working on the things that matter most to you.

So go on… spare a couple of minutes, have your say, and help us help you 👮‍♂️💙

📅 Closes: 22nd June 2026

Behind the flashy prize and urgency could be:

If it feels too good to be true 🚩 — it usually is.

2666 👋

Its Saturday afternoon and very shortly the backshift will be commencing their tour of duty.

In line with our regular night time economy work - we'll have teams deployed across the district on "Op Regulate". This operation is designed to support the night life in many of our town centres. 🤝

Not only will officers be on hand to deal with any incidents arising, they will be proactively visiting licensed premises. This is to maintain contact with our publicans, ensure compliance with licensing requirements and in effect work to reduce the likelihood of incidents occurring in the first place. 📉 ✅

If you are heading out tonight - have fun, enjoy yourself and know when to call time ⏰

Out on the Beat: Kendal Canal Path
PCSO Hayley and PCSO Lambert were out on foot patrol along the Kendal canal path today.

The main mission?
Checking the area for illegal e-bikes and keeping the community safe.
The actual result?
Getting absolutely soaked. While they were on the lookout for anti-social riding, the only thing pouring down the path today was the classic Cumbrian rain.
No illegal bikes were spotted—just plenty of puddles.
Thank you to the brave walkers who smiled through the downpour with us.
PCSO Hayley and PCSO Lambert will be back out on the beat soon (hopefully with drier weather).
Stay safe and dry out there!
