🌱 Help Our Waste Services Team With Better Kerbside Bin Placement 🌱

Our Waste Services team and contractors work hard to keep the Shire looking clean and tidy — and you can help make their job safer and easier by placing your bins correctly, on collection day.

Here’s how to get it right:
🔹 Have your bins out by 6am on your scheduled collection day.
🔹 Place bins on the road verge, with the lid closed and no overflow.
🔹 Keep bins 50cm apart so the truck’s lifting arms can operate safely.
🔹 Leave 1 metre of clearance from trees, cars and poles.
🔹 Ensure bins are uncontaminated and weigh under 70kg.
🔹 Place bins 3 metres away from overhead powerlines where possible.

♻️ Missed collection?
If your bin wasn’t emptied on its scheduled day, please leave it out for the next business day. Our team works hard to catch up after any unexpected disruptions.

If your bin still hasn’t been emptied by the following day, just get in touch with our friendly Waste Services team:
📞 9848 0300
📧 [email protected]

By following these simple steps, we can all keep our community safe, tidy and running smoothly. 💚

For more information about Kerbside Collection, including how to find on which day your bin is scheduled for collection, visit our waste services webpage:
