We ventured out early this morning on the Merton bus to attend the Festival of the Fleeces and enjoyed a wonderful day in the sunshine. We had a wander around the market stalls & watched some impressive sheep shearing demonstrations. A big thank you to the council for allowing us to sit and watch from their veranda—it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the festivities. There was a fantastic variety of food trucks to choose from for lunch. We finished the day watching the parade make its way down the main street, which was a highlight for many of us. A great day out was had by all! I think we may all need a nap this afternoon though 😂😴
