Shout out to CFA Birregurra & the RAFF crew for assisting us today with the clean up of the out of control burn in Bambra last night. The job is complete as of lunch time today.

Thank you to our commander Gavin Fitzgerald for making sure we are fed and looked after we appreciate you.

Also thank you to our crew for showing up, monitoring the fire throughout the night and assisting with the clean up today.

None of this is possible without our cfa volunteers.

At 15:00 today our pagers went off for a local Burn Off Out Of Control. It was pretty well going when we arrived. The fire is now under control.

We would like to thank our supporting brigades Winchelsea Fire Brigade CFA Birregurra Wurdale Fire Brigade Barwon Downs CFA
Also a huge thank you to our commander Gavin Fitzgerald for attending.

Just a reminder that while the fire restrictions have been lifted we are still having warm days and it’s still very dry so if you do burn off please register your burn and if you walk away from it make sure it’s out.

Deans Marsh & Surrounding is currently under the Watch and Act - Monitor Conditions as they are changing.

This means the situation can change at any time. You must monitor conditions and be ready to act.

Now would be a really good time to make sure your property is prepared and you have your fire plan easily accessible.

As a brigade we are doing everything we possibly can and will continue to do so but it’s also upto you to take care or your own safety.
