🧡 Today marks both World Su***de Prevention Day and R U OK? Day.

While these are separate awareness campaigns, they share an important message: the power of connection. Taking the time to check in, ask someone how they're doing, listen without judgement and show genuine care can make a meaningful difference.

We don't always know what someone may be experiencing, which is why creating a community where people feel supported, connected and able to reach out for help is so important.

Today, and every day, we encourage everyone to look out for one another. Sometimes a simple conversation can mean more than we realise.

💛 Please take care of yourselves and each other.

Celebrating Dental Health Week (3-9 August 2026)

As part of Dental Health Week, early learning services participating in the Smiles 4 Miles program were invited to take part in a colouring competition.

Congratulations to our student winner, Isla from Hepburn Kindergarten, who received a strawberry plush toy as her prize.

Congratulations also to Creswick & District Preschool, winner of the Service Award, receiving a dental health puppet to support ongoing oral health education.

As a thank you for participating, all participating services received a box of fresh fruit to share with staff and students.

This was a fantastic learning and family engagement activity, encouraging conversations about oral health both within services and at home. Thank you to all participating services for your enthusiasm, creativity and commitment to promoting the Clean Well message.
