Congratulations to all NT finalists for making it to the 59th Australian Export Awards. There were exporters from across Australia competing in 13 national category awards, and ultimately, for the title of Australian Exporter of the Year.

A special congratulation to Monsoon Aquatics for taking home not only the Agribusiness, Food and Beverages national award, but also Australian Exporter of the Year 2021.

Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Dan Tehan MP and Minister for Northern Australia and Trade Nicole Manison : Member for Wanguri have congratulated Monsoon Aquatics for its significant contribution to the Australian economy and its sustainable export business.

“This small business, borne out of a chance meeting between two aquatics aficionados, has become a pioneer in its field, sourcing coral and marine life from the remotest parts of the Northern Territory and exporting it to customers across the world,” said Minister Tehan.

“Monsoon Aquatics is a real Territory success story – they are a pioneer in their field, sourcing coral and marine life sustainably and exporting it to the world,” said Minister Manison.
