Families & Schools Together
FAST NT supports families through the delivery of family-strengthening and parenting support programs. FAST NT, which sits under the administration of NT Christian Schools, has been working with families and communities since 2003 when it delivered its first program in the NT.
The goal of FAST NT family strengthening programs is to empower parents to help children succeed at home, school and the community.
To achieve this goal, various programs are delivered to families in a wide range of urban and remote sites across the Territory. Through government funding and partnering with agencies, FAST builds the capacity of a local team which supports families to partner with schools, communities and agencies so that “children can grow up well and succeed.”
