A woman allegedly stabbed a bouncer in the leg with scissors while being kicked out of a city bar, and then stabbed a woman twice in the head at the Darwin bus exchange, NT Police said.

🚨Call for information - Aggravated robbery - Karama🚨

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an aggravated robbery occurred in Karama overnight.

Around 9pm, police received reports of 5 youths or young adults entering a licenced premises on Kalymnos Drive. They were refused service and asked to leave.

A short time later, the group returned allegedly armed with edged weapons and threatened the staff, with one of the youths allegedly assaulting a staff member before fleeing the scene.

The group then attended a nearby service station stealing small items and again fleeing.

Police attended the scene and arrested a 15-year-old male.

Strike Force Trident Detectives have arrested a further 2 male offenders this morning at a property in Malak, aged 13 and 15 and another male offender this afternoon at another property in Malak aged 18.

🚨Operation Munster🚨

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after violent disturbances occurred in Alice Springs yesterday afternoon.

Around 4pm, a licensed premises on Todd Street in Alice Springs was the scene of disorder as a group of people criminally damaged the property during a dispute with other people inside the building. Police attended the location and made arrests at the scene.

Just before 7pm, police were called to an address in Sadadeen and encountered about 150 people, some going armed in public and engaging in violent conduct. Police units attended the incident, along with the community engagement team to engage and restore order. Police will allege a car was set alight as well as a mattress inside a nearby premises. Northern TErritory Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and extinguished the fire.

Police have arrested a 16, 18, 19, 31, and 50-year-old male for weapons and other offences relating to the two incidents.

Acting Assistant Commissioner Gray-Spence said “This is criminal conduct that will be fully investigated and action taken against the perpetrators.

“Operation Munster has been established to carry out the investigation and coordinate our efforts in reviewing CCTV, identifying offenders and taking appropriate action”.

Northern Territory Police have charged a youth with multiple property offences committed across Palmerston recently.

Around 8pm on Friday 15 March 2024, police allege a 15-year-old male in the company of other unknown offenders unlawfully entered a government premises on Palmerston Circuit, Palmerston, causing damage and fleeing the scene.

Over the course of Saturday the 16 March and Sunday 17 March 2024, the offenders have allegedly returned to the same location, where they have stolen a quality of cash and credit cards, along with causing further damage to the location.

Over this weekend, the offenders have allegedly used the stolen credit cards multiple times across the Palmerston area.

Yesterday morning, detectives from Strike Force Trident arrested a 15-year-old male in relation to the offending.

He has since been charged with:

• 8 x Aggravated burglary

• 1 x Attempt aggravated burglary

• 11 x Damage to property

• 6 x Theft

• 3 x Obtain befit by deception

• 1 x Serious breach of bail

He was remanded to appear in court today.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Christopher Humphries said “Detectives from Strike Force Trident arrested a 12-year-old co-offender last week in relation to parts of this offending, and have identified additional offenders with further arrests and charges are expected.

"As always, anyone with information in relation to these unlawful entries is urged to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference 2400027419.”
