Dalby State School Welcome to Dalby State School - a great school that has enjoyed over 150 years of state education. Classes are realigned each year to cater for all children.

It is with pleasure that I welcome you to Dalby State School – a school steeped in history as one of the oldest public schools in Queensland. Over $3 million dollars worth of facility upgrades have taken place here over the last few years which have contributed to the establishment of a vibrant learning community. ty all play in promoting a safe, challenging environment that not only achieves academic results but also prepares students for their future. Our focus to accept the challenge of catering for each child drives our thinking and makes our commitment to providing a range of programs in the academic, sporting, music and social development fields. Our social skills program, learning support, sport and music program are consistently reviewed to reflect children’s changing needs and recognised developments in education. This makes us a progressive, busy and vibrant school. Our teachers are dedicated and they take pride in providing and promoting an excellent learning environment. The inclusive and compassionate community of students, staff and parents provides the ideal environment for fostering individual strengths, meeting individual needs and challenging the abilities of each student in a supportive, positive and vibrant learning community. What an incredible achievement by our Dalby State School choirs at the Dalby Eisteddfod!
From our Prep Choir to our Junior and Senior Singers, every student represented our school with pride and excellence. Congratulations to our Prep Choir for receiving a Highly Recommended award, our Junior Singers for achieving Second Place, and our Senior Singers for earning two First Place awards!
These outstanding results are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of our students. A special thank you to our wonderful Music Teacher, Mrs Kreymborg, for her leadership, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to strengthening and supporting our choral program.
We are so proud of every student who performed this morning. Your enthusiasm, teamwork, and musical excellence have made our school community proud. Well done, everyone! 👏👏🎶🌟

🚒 Fire Safety Fun! 🚒
Last week, our Year 1 students were lucky to welcome the Dalby Fire Fighters to Dalby State School to learn some of Blazer’s Fire Safety Skills.
We learned that fire is a tool, not a toy, practised “Stop, Drop and Roll” and “Get down low and go, go, go,” and discovered what to do in an emergency. We also learned to “Get out and stay out” and never hide if trapped inside—we scream, shout, and make lots of noise!
A big thank you to the Dalby Fire Fighters for such a fun and informative visit! 👨‍🚒🔥
