Today we're excited to host our Junior Sports Day from 9:00am - 11:00am, followed by Under 8's Day from 11:45am - 1:45pm.

🌟 Under 8's Day is almost here! 🌟

We are excited to welcome our future Prep students and their families to Daisy Hill State School for Under 8's Day on Friday 11 September from 11:45am to 1:45pm.

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of activities, play and learning as children explore our school and make new friends. We can't wait to meet our youngest learners and share what makes Daisy Hill State School such a special place.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Junior Sports Day is almost here! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We look forward to welcoming our Prep to Year 2 students and their families for our Junior Sports Day on Friday 11 September.

The morning will begin with exciting game rotations from 9:00am, followed by sprint races at 10:30am. Parents and carers are then invited to join us for a picnic from 11:00am.

We can't wait to see our students having fun, showing great sportsmanship, and giving their best effort. See you there! 💙💛

Looking for care on the upcoming pupil free day?

The YMCA Daisy Hill Pupil Free Day Program is running on Friday 4 September, with a fun-filled"Spring Into Action" Service Day!

Children can enjoy a day packed with adventure, creativity, outdoor activities, nature challenges, crafts, active games and opportunities to make new friendships.

🕡 Opening Hours: 6:30am to 6:00pm
🌱 Flexible drop-off times available
🥪 Please bring a broad-brimmed hat, enclosed shoes, water bottle, lunch and snacks
🥜 This is a nut-free service.

Places are limited, so be sure to book early to secure your child's spot for a day of fun and adventure!

🎉 Father's Day Stall is Coming! 🎉

Looking for the perfect Father's Day gift? Our Father's Day Stall will be open next week with a range of special gifts available from $1 to $10.

📅 Tuesday 1 September Students will visit the stall with their class throughout the day to purchase gifts.

📅 Wednesday 2 September The stall will reopen before school from 8:00am for students, parents, and grandparents who would like to make any additional purchases.

We look forward to helping students find something special for the important father figures in their lives! 💙

Parent Teacher Interviews will be taking place on Tuesday 1 September. This is a valuable opportunity to discuss your child's learning and progress with their classroom teacher. 💙 Father's Day Stall
Our annual Father's Day Stall will also be held on Tuesday 1 September. Students will have the opportunity to purchase a special gift for a father, grandfather, carer, or another important person in their life. Please keep an eye on our page and school communications for further information.

🐨 Koala Centre Visit with Japanese Students
Japanese Club students participating in the Koala Centre visit are reminded that QParents consent forms are due by Wednesday 2 September. Please ensure your consent is submitted before the due date.

🎾 Year 6 QLD Tennis Future Fit Program
Year 6 students participating in the QLD Tennis Future Fit Program also need to have their QParents consent form completed by Wednesday 2 September.

🚫 Pupil Free Day – Friday 4 September
A reminder that Friday 4 September is a Pupil Free Day. Students are not required to attend school on this day. Please do not send students to school.
