This Neighbour Day, check in with your neighbours to ensure they are prepared in the event of a house fire. Interconnected smoke alarms means when one goes off, they all go off.

This alerts everyone in the home at the same time, no matter where the fire starts, giving you more time to escape.

Traffic accident on Tomewin Mountain road this morning. Drivers need to drive to suit conditions. Then incident was attended by crews from Currumbin Valley RFS, 634A Bilinga, Murwillumbah RFS NSW and Bilambil RFS NSW. Thank you crews for your assistance.
