💧 Water security funding for the Shire of Cunderdin!

We’re pleased to announce that the Shire of Cunderdin has received $57,116 in funding through the Community Water Supplies Partnership program to support the installation of a 200,000-litre rainwater harvesting system at the Cunderdin Sport and Recreation Centre to support irrigation and emergency water supplies.

This investment will utilise rainwater harvesting from the Basketball & Netball Shed to help strengthen our community’s water security, support the resilience of local facilities and ensure we’re better prepared for the future.

This project is funded by the Australian Government, through the National Water Grid Fund, the Western Australian Government and delivered by the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation through the Rural Water Planning section in partnership with the Shire of Cunderdin.

We thank the partners for their support and look forward to delivering this important project for our community. 💧

🏗️🪏Works are underway!🪏🧱
We're pleased to share that works have now commenced on the sub-surface preparation for the Wellness Hub and Kiosk.

It's exciting to see the project moving from plans on paper to works taking place on site. We're looking forward to seeing progress continue over the coming weeks and before long, seeing the footprint of the buildings take shape.
