The Craigieburn War Memorial and Remembrance Committee Incorporated

The Craigieburn War Memorial and Remembrance Committee Incorporated ANZAC Day Services have been conducted with the support of the SES since that time.

The CWMRC Is an official ‘Friends of the RSL’ and manages and conducts the Craigieburn ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day services and seeks the establishment of the Craigieburn War Memorial. The Craigieburn Unit of the Victoria State Emergency Service accepted guardianship of the Craigieburn War Memorial Stone, by authority of Hume City Council, on 4 February 2008. The Craigieburn War Memorial and Re

membrance Committee was established as an Incoprorated body for the dual purpose of:

Conducting the Annual Craigieburn ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day Services; and

To establish and manage the Craigieburn War Memorial on its permanent site in the new Craigieburn Sports and Recreation Precinct.

100% of donations are directed to these two objectives.

ANZAC Day Services rely on Volunteers 🇦🇺

Craigieburn is fortunate to have so many supporters 🇦🇺

18 Schools, Religious Communities, Scouts, Guides, Country Women’s Association, VICPOL, CFA, VICSES, and members of the public who laid wreaths and assisted us with the Services 🇦🇺

Craigieburn has ensured that the torch is held aloft 🇦🇺

Feedback regarding our sound system on ANZAC Day has been noted. I ask that you bear with us - cost is a major issue and we are working on it 🇦🇺

The last hire system was around $4,000 which is crippling for a non-profit Volunteer body 🇦🇺

A suitable system is estimated at $10,000 - we are working on it 🇦🇺

Also, the CWMRC is an official Friends of the RSL - we perform as a traditional sub-branch. We meet at the Bowls Club - we are not a licenced club - we are similar to 80% of sub-branches - our sole purpose is conducting remembrance services and providing Veteran support 🇦🇺

Please support us and help improve our Services 🇦🇺

Lest We Forget 🇦🇺
