💥ADOPTION UPDATE - QUOLLIFLOWER💥

It's been another couple of rough months for poor Quolliflower. She has been very hard at work, eating, showing off on our tours, and, most tiring of all, snuggling with her sister Pepper! 😝 Quolliflower will be turning four very soon, quite an impressive occasion for an Eastern Quoll.

💥ADOPTION UPDATE - ZEUS💥

Like his brother, Odin, Zeus has also been enjoying the company of the ladies over the last couple of months.
He has good instincts, and we have seen a little bit of action, but it will be a while before we know how successful he is.

Now that it is nearing the end of the breeding season, Zeus will be taking a bit of a breather before hanging out with the rest of the gang back on display.

💥ADOPTION UPDATE - ODIN💥

Odin has been keeping himself VERY busy lately..... with the ladies!

Over the last few months Odin has been trying his luck with a few of our females. Things are looking very promising indeed so we may be seeing some little Odins popping out of some pouches in a couple of months 😍.

As breeding season wraps up, Odin will eventually take a little time off before rejoining our main cohort back on display and no doubt start impressing people on our Feeding Tours.

Today is and we are shining a spotlight on the effects of climate change on the Tasmanian Devil, the Eastern Quoll, and the Spotted-Tailed Quoll.

Climate change is actively reshaping their survival right now through:
🔥 Habitat Destruction: Climate-driven droughts and severe bushfires wipe out the mature hollow logs and den sites needed to raise young quolls and devils.
🍗 Food Security: Shifts in seasonal rainfall heavily disrupt the availability of insects, small mammals, and carrion, reducing food resources and preventing the successful rearing of young.

Devils@Cradle is proud to be members of the Tasmanian Quoll Conservation Program, and the Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal, assisting in breeding, research, captive population management and wild release of these iconic endangered animals.

Wildlife need habitat! So, let’s protect our wild spaces so these remarkable creatures can thrive for generations to come!

💥ADOPTION UPDATE - SQUIZZ💥

Foreman Squizz is on the job! 😅

After giving birth to our little firecracker Ziggie, Squizz is now enjoying a well earned retirement but this hasn't slowed her down.

She is still as curious and cheeky as ever. Her favourite thing lately is inspecting our keepers work! Fortunately she is a very fare boss.

Squizz is now hanging out with friends Aroha and Manina and wowing guests on our feeding tours.

Keep up the good work Squizz!

❤️RETURNING SPONSOR - THE REYNOLDS FAMILY❤️

Devils@Cradle would like to extend a massive THANK YOU the Reynolds Family for their continued sponsorship of Ethan.

Ethan was sponsored and named in 2024 by Robyn and Derek in memory of their gorgeous son Ethan. Read more about their story here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/14iBXu1S1jL/

Robyn says: "We're really happy that Ethan is happy and healthy and that his namesake would be smiling down from Heaven xx"

Three-year-old Ethan (the quoll) has been recommended to breed this year. Let's hope the ladies find him as cute as we do!
