TRAINING NIGHT TONIGHT!
Tonight, Neil Payn Operations Manager from the North East Unit Support team will be back and our new members will be fitted for their oranges!!

SUPPORT WITH PAPERWORK
Neil is currently at the Unit all day today, so if new members need additional support with their on-boarding paperwork, head down to the shed to say G'day!

Preparing for and managing emergencies in Victoria is a shared responsibility. A committee of different agencies and community representatives work together to plan and prepare for local emergencies.

Local knowledge and connection is key, and the Towong Municipal Emergency Management Committee (MEMPC) is looking for a well-connected community advocate to fill a new vacancy.

Tonight, special guest Neil Payn Operations Manager from the North East Unit Support team, will guide our new recruits through their induction modules with the help of our current members.

We will also collective review the night training will be held on as well as the time, so stay tuned for updates!

Our local Unit is excited for the future.

We would like to say a HUGE thankyou to the Corryong community for coming together and supporting the continuation of service by beginning their volunteer journey with the local SES unit!

Our next training evening will be Thursday September 7, where our new recruits will begin their induction.

Didn't get to the Community Meeting on Monday? That's ok! Our crew will be at the shed tonight to answer your questions and help with any membership paperwork.

SES Corryong Unit train twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays.
Come down and say hello 👋as we welcome interested locals to meet the team, have a chat and learn more about the many different volunteers roles you can get involved in.
