📢 CGRC Community Update

✅ Ordinary Council Meeting: Tues 22 Sept, 6pm, Council Chambers, Gundagai.

🌿 Muttama Creek Clean Up Day: Sat 18 Oct, Cootamundra. Registration 9am to 10:30am at the Ex-Services Club rear car park. Volunteers welcome. Call 1300 459 689.

🏢 Council Offices Closed: Friday 2 Oct for Union Picnic Day. Reopening Tuesday 6 Oct. Please note the King's Birthday public holiday on Monday 5 Oct.

🚧 Road Works: Heavy patching is underway on the Olympic Highway and later Burley Griffin Way. Expect short delays and follow traffic controllers.

💼 Positions Vacant: Waste Facility Attendant/Relief Waste Collection Operator (Cootamundra). Applications close Fri 18 Sept.

✨ Festival of Gundagai: Fri 18 Sept from 4pm. Free family-friendly entertainment, light installations, performances and projections. Sheridan Street closed 2pm to 10pm.

🎨 School Holiday Activities: Plenty of events, crafts, games and programs across the region. Follow the Cootamundra & Gundagai Library pages and visit the CGRC website for details.

📢🏛️ CGRC ADMINISTRATION OFFICES CLOSED 🏛️📢

Please note that Council Administration Offices will be closed on Friday, 2 October 2026 for Union Picnic Day 🎉.

✅ Garbage Collection Services will operate as normal with no changes to scheduled collections 🚛♻️.
Libraries and Visitor Information Centres will be open.
