Good news!

LAYING THE FOUNDATIONS FOR MORE COOMA HOUSING! 🏡👷🏽‍♀️🧱

We know that boosting housing supply is a huge priority for the Cooma region, and that starts with getting the enabling infrastructure in the ground, so we can get more housing off the ground!

I’m excited to announce that work will kick off later this month at the Cooma North Precinct off Polo Flat Road.

$23.6 million from the federal and state Labor Governments will support the construction of roads, and the delivery of electrical, water, sewer, and telecommunications infrastructure.

This will help unlock 177 new homes into the future - including more social housing, more homes for growing families, and more housing to attract and retain the key workers Cooma needs.

We do not share the same values, as we are about working together in the best interests of Snowy Monaro, not ourselves.

We are not 'anti-government' - Labor understands how local government works and can represent the community within that legal framework.

We all pay our rates, and are proud of the contribution we make to this region.

People feel safe around us, we are approachable and actively listen and find solutions which won't harm others.

Our cups are not already full - we are willing to learn how to do better every day.
