Another sad day in Condong, we said goodbye to Shylock our lovely Scottish Deerhound today. Like all large dogs his back legs gave way and he could no longer walk. We said goodbye out in the sun in his favourite place to lie. He had a good home with us after rescuing him from the pound back in 2011. He will be sadly missed and also by his best mate the goose.

Another sad day, lost 2 of our beautiful horses in the flood on Thursday night. We never thought there would be so much water and we were unable to find higher ground for them. We feel it is our fault but no amount of guilt can bring them back.
RIP Hardy and Nica.

Very sad news here tonight. Our wonderful old Macca the sargeant major, had to be put to sleep. He had severe colitis and was in a lot of pain. It's hard to make these decisions, to lose an old friend but to be kind to them in the long run. He was 23 years old and I'd like to think we made his last seven years with us the best years of his life. RIP old mate. ###
