♻️ Return and Earn Scheme♻️

This Student Parliament have recently introduced return and earn bins into the playground. This initiative encourages recycling, helps keep our playground clean and supports future student-led projects.

✨ Where Are They Now? Wednesday ✨

This week, we're catching up with Kane and Scott F (Class of 1996), along with Scott H and Paul, who completed Year 10 in the same year.

Take a quick trip back to 1996 with a few snapshots from Tower and Wheel, our school magazine, and celebrate the memories, friendships, and experiences that made that year special.

Do you remember these days? We'd love to hear your memories in the comments!

πŸ“š Yesterday was another action-packed day at CCS!

Whether competing in Rugby and Netball at Coolamon or taking part in engaging hands-on learning experiences at school, our students embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm. We love seeing our school filled with learning, laughter and happy faces every day!

As part of The Resilience Project, we want to encourage our students and families to regularly engage in β€˜GEM Chats’. πŸ‘₯✨

These chats use quick, targeted daily prompts (such as β€œWhat are you grateful for today?”) to build emotional literacy and positive habits. 🧠✨

This could be around the dinner table, before bed, driving to sport or at school pick up. Wherever suits. Building in opportunities to ask these questions and prompt meaningful, reflective daily conversations to support positive wellbeing and mental health habits. πŸ§‘πŸ©΅πŸ’œ

Our Central School Gala Day teams represented the school with pride, determination and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day.

The Opens Girls Netball team had a strong and competitive day, winning 2 out of their 3 games and only narrowly going down by 2 points in their second match. Their efforts have earned them a place in the finals in Dubbo, congratulations girls!

The 14s Boys Rugby team fought hard all day, securing a great win against Lake Cargelligo and narrowly missing out in their other two games.

The 16s Boys Rugby team also had a very competitive day, showing resilience and teamwork, especially in their final game played in the rain.

All students displayed excellent teamwork, encouragement and sportsmanship and should be proud of the way they represented our school. Well done to everyone involved!
