REGISTER YOUR INTEREST
This food handling course, also more commonly known as a food safety handler course, provides participants with basic cleaning and hygiene knowledge, skills, principles, practices and procedures. It forms essential foundation knowledge to food safety supervisors, chefs, cooks, food and beverage handlers, kitchen hands, kiosk attendants, café staff and food handling staff in small businesses.

The food safety handler course covers the following criteria:

What is food safety and why is it important;
How to identify and assess food safety hazards;
Procedures for controlling risks;
Monitor food safety in the workplace.

Equip yourself with life-saving skills by enrolling in accredited HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid (Level 2) course!

Designed for fast, flexible learning, this program combines two convenient online pre-course theory modules with a streamlined 3.5-hour face-to-face practical session, including a complete CPR update (or a 90-minute refresher option for CPR-only students).

At just $120.00 per person (minimum 10 participants required), it is perfect for workplaces, community groups, and local volunteers within Cardinia Shire are eligible for a 50% subsidy!

Cockatoo Community House is excited to explore launching Shine Disco in Term 4. This will be a fun, inclusive social program where everyone can enjoy great music, dancing and making new friends.

We’re planning to offer:
🌞 A daytime session, weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on number of participants
🌙 An evening session

🧠 Mind Cafe by Mi SmartLife provides a welcoming, confidential space for emotional support, mindfulness, stress management, wellbeing guidance and early intervention. No judgement, just a caring conversation when you need it.

MindCafe is a free, welcoming drop-in service where you can have a confidential chat with a trained peer worker, enjoy a cuppa, and connect with support in a relaxed, friendly environment.
