We're proud to be participating in the Victorian Government's Free Pads and Tampons Program, helping to make essential period products more accessible for our community.

Free pads and tampons are now available at:

📍 Brunswick Baths
📍 Coburg Leisure Centre
📍 Fawkner Leisure Centre

Access to period products should never be a barrier to participating in sport, recreation, health and wellbeing activities. This initiative helps create more inclusive, welcoming and accessible spaces for everyone in our community.

Dispensers are located in the female change rooms at Coburg Leisure Centre and Fawkner Leisure Centre, and in both the female and all-gender change rooms at Brunswick Baths, ensuring essential period products are available whenever they're needed.

Unfortunately, our 25m pool will be closed for the remainder of today due to unplanned maintance.

Merri-bek City Council is committed to maintaining high-quality Aquatic and Leisure facilities. The 50m Outdoor Pool will be closed from Monday 4 May – Thursday 1 October for essential maintenance. This includes draining the pool, removing existing tiles, preparing the pool shell, installing new tiles, and refilling the pool.

This $1.2 million investment forms part of our ongoing commitment to ensure safe, modern and enjoyable aquatic spaces for all residents.

We understand there is never a convenient time to close a pool and apologise for any inconvenience these works may cause. The outdoor 50m pool at Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre will remain open for limited hours during this period.
