We're proud to be joining a network of more than 3,000 corporate, government and not-for-profit organisations that have made a formal commitment to reconciliation through Reconciliation Australia's RAP program.

We're pleased to share our inaugural 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻, a plan that acknowledges the enduring connection of the Yorta Yorta peoples to this land, and sets out clear, practical steps to strengthen relationships, build respect and create real opportunities.

The RAP will help shape how we work, and how we embed reconciliation and self determination into the core of our organisation and community life.

Following its recent adoption, our RAP has now been submitted to Reconciliation Australia for final approval.

𝗣𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 – 𝗠𝗬𝗔 🐶

Say hello to Mya, a beautiful 12 year-old Alaskan Malamute. 💛

Mya has reached her golden years and is looking for a special family where she can enjoy a comfortable and happy retirement. Despite her age, our vets have given her a great report card, with a strong heart, healthy lungs, and excellent teeth.

She is a great eater and enjoys meeting and greeting other dogs. However, in her retirement years, she'd love to be the queen of the household, soaking up all the love, attention, and affection.

If you can offer Mya the loving retirement she deserves, we'd love to hear from you.

🎬 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗔 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿

Moira Shire Council is proud to support Rotary Club of Cobram in bringing this powerful event to our community.

Tickets are now available for a FREE community screening of 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗔 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗲𝘆𝗮𝗵 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟰.

Writer, producer, and star Leila McDougall will join us that night, along with a panel of guests, for a discussion after the film about the conversations it opens up - and why those conversations matter so much in communities like ours.

Just A Farmer is more than a film about farming - it's a powerful Australian story about family, community, resilience and the challenges that can sit quietly beneath the surface in rural life.

🍖 Free BBQ before the screening
🍰 Country-style supper afterwards

The whole evening is FREE - bookings are essential.
