🏃‍♀️ SAPSASA Cross Country🏃‍♂️

Yesterday, 15 of our students competed in the Riverland SAPSASA Cross Country event at Waikerie.
They were all so enthusiastic to compete and gave it their best.

🌟Congratulations to Ellie & Jasmin who finished 4th and 5th in the 11 year old race, they both have been selected for Riverland Cross Country team and will travel to Oakbank Racecourse in June.

Well done to all our Cobby students we are proud of your running efforts.
Thank you to Mr Ness and Ali for transporting supporting the students.

🏐District Girls Netball Report 2026🏐

Our Year 5/6 girls competed in Division 1 Netball at The Precinct, Loxton, on Friday 8th May.

The girls had a fantastic day, only losing one game and finishing a very close 3rd before the finals play-offs. In the play-off match, they came up against Waikerie and, despite a strong effort, were unfortunately defeated, finishing an impressive 4th overall.

The team played exceptionally well together, showing great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school and displayed our school values.

👏 A big thank you to: Mrs Ness for coaching the girls in the lead-up to the day, Mrs Smart for coaching and transporting the team on the day, Mrs Gillespie for also providing transport and to all the families who came along to cheer the girls on.
