We were honoured to have a visit to our Station today by the Hon Jihad Dib, NSW Minister for Emergency Services and Dr Michael Holland MLA, Member for Bega, to inspect the Station and meet some of our Brigade members.

Even though fire permits are no longer required as we exit the Bush Fire Danger Period, from April 1st you still need to notify via the RFS website at www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/notify

You neighbours also need to be notified 24hrs in advance of you lighting your fire.

The end of the bush fire danger period, does not remove your requirement to undertake safe burning. Always check the weather before lighting.
